Wenn man über die legendäre Clubszene in Wien spricht, kommt man am B72 nicht vorbei. Seit Mai 1998 ist das von 20.00 bis 06.00 Uhr (20.00 bis 04.00 von Sonntag bis Donnerstag) geöffnete Lokal Heimat für namhafte nationale und internationale Bands und DJs.

Hier hat sich schon das Who's who der Musikszene die Klinke in die Hand gegeben, wie etwa Calexico, Tocotronic, Die Goldenen Zitronen, Peaches oder Moneybrother, um nur einige zu nennen. Außerdem ist das B72 ein beliebter Treffpunkt für die alternative österreichische Musikerszene, die hier gerne mal ein Bierchen trinkt.

"Idyllisch" ;-) in den Stadtbahnbögen gelegen, kann auf zwei Etagen gefeiert werden. In der unteren Etage findet man zwei Bars, von denen aus die Live-Acts verfolgt werden können.

Der Raum im oberen Stock bietet die perfekte Möglichkeit, um zu relaxen. Von dort aus hat man auch einen ausgezeichneten Blick von oben auf die Bühne. Für laue Sommernächte bietet sich der Gastgarten im Freien an, der bis 2 Uhr früh geöffnet hat. Das Lokal ist barrierefrei und verfügt über eine Behindertentoilette.


If you think of Vienna´s Clubscene, you certainly think of B72. Open from 8pm till 6am on Fridays and Saturdays and 8pm till 4am during the rest of the week , the club unlocked its doors in May 1998. Since then it has been the stage for many well-known Austrian and International Artists as well as DJs who have played shows in its unique and cosy surroundings.

A number of famous Bands played their first Shows in Austria at B72. Including Calexico, Tocotronic, Peaches, Moneybrother to name but a few. The club is also a popular hideout for the Austrian music scene.

B72 is inside an early 20th century railway arch building, the live-arch has an audience balcony that offers a perfect view to the stage, so you are able to party and watch your favourite bands on two different floors! The first floor is a great place to drink and enjoy a boogie with your friends whilst the second floor offers space to relax and to hang out if your feet need some rest from all the dancing.

During the summertime you can enjoy our outdoor area if things get too crowded inside. B72 is also handicapped accessible.
