THE GOOD LIBRARY
"The Good Library are an Austrian group with layered atmospheres and spoken vocals on a couple tracks, some tracks are just wandering surrealistic instrumentals. Trees bent in a magnetic wind from outrageous auras manifested at sundown by ritualistic invocation of krautrock stoned improvisatory meanderings. Guitar, bass, drums, synth, and keyboards paint with fuzzy fingers, slow extraterrestrial space extending outward, and vast topographical maps. Their spoken tracks feel somewhere between David Thomas'
"Mirror Man", and John Sinclair's stoney recollections, while instrumentally they recall; Cul de Sac, The Doors, and several German bands."

niki horak sings and plays the guitar, reini hackl plays bass and stephan brueckler is on the drums. the songs are either written together or everyone makes their own ones. songs are often sung by all three band members, sometimes the roles are swapped completely.

something between pop and alternative rock, melancholic to euphoric, beautiful love songs, song and voice in the foreground
origin: after one year and countless solo-concerts in london niki founded supermarket with reini and stephan. together, the search for the perfect pop song continues.
