The campers used the last two years to reflect on the spring of their lives. With the 6 songs of their "Revisiting Spring" EP (release: Sept 16, 2022, Sissi Records) they continue what began with the teenage bands Beatbrats and Springy Pinestix.
After the albums "Stay Okay" (Las Vegas Records, 2012) and "Lust & Anger" (Sissi Records, 2019), they are presenting their first EP this year, which was written and recorded in November 2020. The songs are about the coolness of cats, their love for the planet and the bitter ones, with a penchant for unreasonable self-mockery.
This EP is also the first production recorded with Axl Vers in their own recording studio in Vienna, which was completed during the lockdown. As always, mix and master come from Toni Meloni Loitsch @ the Nautilus Studio.

After spending much of his youth playing bass in several punk and hardcore bands Moritz aka Combat Beach was tired of compromising creatively and started writing songs himself. Just like a musical diary, he packs his emotions and everything thats on his mind into short and catchy tracks of punk, pop, indie or emo. Or all of the above simultaneously, as in a single song there could be traces of Television Personalities, Jets to Brazil and, say, Front Bottoms at the same time.
Combat Beach is not a one-man bedroom-project though, but rather a band with a fluctuating line-up. Besides himself as songwriter, Moritz likes to recruit whoevers available and willing from his friends and acquaintances, live and on record. He did so on Combat Beachs debut EP 'Either Way, Why Worry' as well as on his debut album 'Nowhere Feels like Home', out on Seayou Records.
